I would love to make it go faster, I just do not believe that higher gearing would make it go faster! That is unless one is laying down and going down hill, with a tail wind.

It has an overhead cam and four valves per cylinder, (sounds impressive) but still only makes a piddling 32 hp. What a joke! Both the KTM and the BMW 650cc Singles make an honest 50 hp.

My vintage--- 1957--- Triumph TR6 (desert sled) produced 42Hp with one carb. and two valves. Many of the vintage--500cc -- OH valve British singles produced 40 to 50 hp (VELOCETTE & BSA GOLD STAR to mention a couple that I owned).
